Scafell Pike and Great End

On 16th May, Derek Cockell and I set off from Seathwaite Farm at 0820 to walk via Sty Head and the Corridor Route to the summit of Scafell Pike which we reached about noon. After a quick lunchbreak we then went across Broad Crag and Ill Crag to Great End and from there down to Esk Hause and down Grains Gill back to Seathwaite.

Our pictures of the day can be seen below.
Further pictures and details of the walk can be found on Derek's website at http://canisfamiliaris.co.uk/lakeswalks/southernfells/scafellpike.htm

Never done the corridor route John but have it pencilled in for July - after your photos I am looking forward to it. Only wish I was as young as Beattie!!!
