Heritage Weekend

Over the weekend of the 12th & 13th September we held a Heritage Weekend at the Otley Methodist Chuch. In the front entrance was an exhibition about the Wesley Family and John Wesley's frequent visits to Otley and then in the Wesley Hall we had an exhibition about the Church during the Victorian Period.

John Wesley's death bed scene. Elizabeth Ritchie, daughter of Dr James Ritchie who lived in Otley, with whom John corresponded on a regular basis, was the only female present at Wesley's death.
