On Easter Sunday Morning a group of us walked up from Otley to the summit of The Chevin where we joined others who had either driven up or walked from other parts of Otley and the Wharfe Valley. We left at 0615 and reached the summit (1,000 feet of climbing and 1½ miles of walking) by about 0650. The service commenced at 0700 and finished around 0720 after which we walked back down and then had Easter breakfast at Church.
