Around Troutbeck and Gowbarrow

On Saturday 29th October I had been staying at the Troutbeck Inn between Penrith & Keswick after I had been to the Wainwright Society Memorial Lecture on the Friday evening given by Hunter Davies. The Society had arranged a walk that morning onto Gowbarrow Fell and the pictures below show an early morning run I had from the hotel and then the walk itself.
