For our main Summer Holiday we had booked a cottage at Rogart, some 40 miles or so north of Inverness in Scotland. We left home at 0700 in the morning and including three stops en route arrived at the cottage at 1630 after travelling 420 miles.
Pictures below are of the journey north and also of the cottage and surrounding countryside on the first day.
First stop at 0900 just north of Carlisle.
A very brief stop north of Perth to change drivers. A friendly horse in the field next to the A9.
