Following our return from Northumberland we had a walk on the Sunday up on Otley Chevin. It was a fine afternnon with some spectacular views.
Looking over the fields to the airport.
Telephoto shot of the planes (mainly BA ones on strike).
View across to the Vale of York (the Minster just perceptable in the distance).
The Chevin Cross which had been erected the previous weekend.
View from the top of the ridge.
Another view over lower Wharfedale and across to the Vale of York.
The rocks near the summit of the Chevin.
The fishing lakes at Knotford Nook and Almscliffe Crag in the background.
